The Governor Brings Down the Fire
Every minute of her fiery speech at CPAC yesterday brought this sad question to mind: Why didn’t you run Governor? We don’t disagree that Mrs. Palin shrewdly assessed the field and her prospects late last year and felt this was not the right time for her, but concern for her family was clearly primary in her mind. But enough with the backward-looking! If there was an antidote to the Romney straw poll fever, it was the Governor’s speech which wisely counseled away from those who are lately come to conservative principles and toward those who have embraced those principles throughout their career.
Thank you Governor for taking it to the President and for reminding us of what is really at stake in this next election.
